Semi-truck flips over on US-131 causing backup

WAYLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Traffic was backed up for several hours on southbound US-131 in Allegan County after a semi-truck flipped over Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 6:20 a.m. on southbound US-131 after the Wayland exit blocking the right lane during the morning rush hour.

Crews were able to get the semi-truck back on its wheels around 8:15 a.m. but traffic was still down to one lane until 9:45 a.m.

Allegan County Dispatch said no one was hurt in the crash.
