Interview: Katy Perry’s halftime show choreographer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Millions of peopled tuned into watch Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday, and stayed to watch Katy Perry perform during halftime.

One of the choreographers of the show, which featured Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliott, a huge lion and dancing sharks, is East Grand Rapids native RJ Durell.

Along with working for Perry, Durell has choreographed for big names like Britney Spears and Madonna.
