Carjacking suspect still on the run

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD)– Authorities with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department are looking for a carjacking suspect.

According to officials, around 11:50 p.m. Saturday, the male victim was sitting in a car when a young man in a ski mask and armed with a gun, approached him and forced the victim to drive away. The victim was sitting in a parked car near a party store on 106th Avenue and Felch Street when the carjacking happened.

A few minutes later, the suspect let the victim out of the car. Officials say the victim was not injured.

The car was found a short time later and not far from the party store. The suspect has not been found. If you have any information, call the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.
