Man recovering after stabbing in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man is recovering after he was stabbed in Grand Rapids.

The stabbing occurred around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Benjamin Avenue and Fountain Street NE.

Grand Rapids police told 24 Hour News 8 the victim was taken to the hospital with minor stab wounds to his abdomen.

A suspect is not in custody at this time.
