Twiggy the Water Skiing Squirrel at the Grand Rapids Boat Show

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) The 70th annual Grand Rapids Boat Show is happening through Sunday, February 22. There are more than 400 boats packed into DeVos Place, making it the largest event of the year at that venue.

Boating enthusiasts will find everything from small crafts like a paddleboards or kayaks all the way up to 42 foot Regal sport cruiser. Many of the boats are geared toward the Great Lakes.

When you go to the Boat Show, register to win a pontoon boat from Lakeside Motor Sports. It’s valued at $20,000.

The Boat Show is all about having fun on the water, with entertainment like zorbs, simulators, the Grand City Skiers, the Key West crab shack for food and entertainment, and Twiggy the Water Skiing Squirrel.

The Grand Rapids Boat Show continues through Sunday, February 22 at DeVos Place. Admission is $10 for adults, $4 for kids ages six through 14, and kids five and under are free. You can download a $2 off coupon for Friday.

Thursday and Friday, 3 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
