GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Get a taste of a tropical getaway without leaving West Michigan. Grand Rapids Civic Theatre is presenting the classic tale of “South Pacific” February 27 through March 22.
Set in World War II, South Pacific is an unconventional love story that deals with issues of racial prejudices, war, and love. It was written by Rogers and Hammerstein, adapted from a Pulitzer Prize-winning novel.
