BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) – The man serving 35 years in federal prison for arranging meetings for sex between a longtime Christian radio host and a boy entered a plea on Calhoun County charges.
Ronald Lee Moser, 43, pleaded no contest to first-degree criminal sexual conduct and human trafficking charges. First-degree criminal sexual conduction carries a minimum sentence of 25 years; human trafficking has a max 20 years sentencing.
Moser admitted that he and the former radio host John Balyo took graphic photos of the boy at Moser’s home in Battle Creek. He then posted those photos on the internet.
He was sentenced in 2014 to 10 years for possession of child pornography, and 25 years for the sexual exploitation of a child.
Both the federal and Calhoun County convictions will run simultaneously.
Baylo was sentenced to 40 years in a federal prison for sexually assaulting and taking photos of the 12-year-old boy in Kalamazoo County in April. In a related case in Calhoun County, Balyo was sentenced in November to 24 to 50 years in prison on county of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
