At least 1 person killed in 3-car crash

ROCKFORD, Michigan (WOOD) — Michigan State Police are investigating a fatal multiple-car crash near Rockford.

The wreck happened just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday on M-57, otherwise known as 14 Mile Road NE, near Northland Drive.

A trooper on scene told 24 Hour News 8 that at least one person was killed in the three-vehicle crash. Another person was critically injured.

The crash shut down a portion of 14 Mile Road NE for a short time.

It’s unknown if anyone else was hurt in the crash. MSP is investigating.
