GRPD investigates possible drive-by shooting

Grand Rapids police on the scene of a shooting in the are of Union Avenue and Ardmore Street SE.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are looking for the person or people who opened fire in what may have been a drive-by shooting.

The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of Union Avenue and Ardmore Street SE. Police were called there after a report of shots fired.

When they arrived, they saw multiple shell casings and broken glass, but did not find anyone with a gunshot wound.

No one had been arrested as of late Sunday afternoon.
