ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash northwest of Grand Rapids on Sunday.
The wreck happened at the intersection of 6 Mile Road NW and Baumhoff Avenue.
Kent County Sheriff’s Department officials on the scene said a car headed south on Baumhoff failed to obey a stop sign and was broadsided by an SUV that was headed west on 6 Mile.
The two people in the front seat of the car sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital.
The backseat passenger in the car and the driver of the SUV, who was the only person in that vehicle, were not hurt.
