Police: Death in Grand Haven ruled suicide

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — The death of 68-year-old has been ruled a suicide, according to a press release from Grand Haven police on Tuesday.

The Grand Haven Department of Public Safety said officers responded to an emergency medical call in the 1000 block of Sheldon Street just before 5 p.m. Monday. There, they found a man already dead.

“Circumstances at the scene dictate a full investigation, including scene processing,” Grand Haven police said in the release Monday, although they never specified what those circumstances were.

Michigan State Police assisted in the investigation.
