GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) For the past 13 years, the members of Girl Scouts Troop 2140 have been busy doing far more than selling cookies – they’ve been taking action to make our community a better place.

Girls who participate in Girl Scouts learn valuable skills like responsibility, leadership, confidence, and courage. Cookie sales build upon those skills by teaching money management, business ethics, and decision making.

Girl Scouts often form lifelong friendships through activities that include camping and service projects. Participating in Girl Scouts also offers opportunities for college scholarships.

Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore are taking cookie orders now through May 16. Learn how to order online or come see them at the Women’s Expo at DeVos Place March 13 through 15.
