HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) The craft beer industry is booming in West Michigan, but another craft that’s emerging on the scene is distilling.
Coppercraft Distillery in Holland has been open to the public for about a year, but has been making spirits since 2012. They feature eight spirits, created with grain-to-glass distilling, which means they get the grain for their bourbons and whiskeys from local farms.
Coppercraft Cocktails for St. Patrick’s Day:
Copper Tulip is the official drink of Tulip Time, featuring a Dutch-inspired gin called Genever. The grain for the spirit is from Windmill Island. The drink will be featured in 20 restaurants throughout Holland during Tulip Time in May.
