Happy puppy needs a new home

gideon at mackenzie's animal sanctuary

LAKE ODESSA, Mich. (WOOD) Warmer weather is a great time to enjoy the great outdoors with a four-legged friend. There’s a new best friend waiting for you at Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary.

Gideon is living at Mackenzie’s and getting ready to celebrate his first birthday in May. Since he’s still a puppy, he will need a patient and loving family that will work with him on his walking and commands.

Gideon would love lots of walks and running around a nice yard. He’s done well with kids older than eight because this energetic pup could knock down a small child.

If you’re interested in meeting Gideon or any of the other dogs at Mackenzie’s, visit their website or give them a call. Their adoption process if very thorough to make sure it’s a good fit for your family and the dog.

Mackenzie’s is partnering with the Grand Rapids Griffins for a fun event this weekend. Sunday, March 22 is Dog Day. Bring your dog to the Griffins game for hockey, dog treat samples, and more fun! Fan tickets are $15 and dog tickets are just $5. All dogs must be on a leash. All proceeds benefit Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary. Click here for more information and to buy tickets.
