Amy’s Kitchen recalls frozen meals for possible listeria

PETALUMA, Calif. — Amy’s Kitchen Inc. is voluntarily recalling nearly 74,000 frozen meals because it may contain organic spinach that was possibly contaminated with listeria.

The 19 recalled products were distributed to stores nationwide and include different types of vegetable lasagna, tofu scrambles, spinach pizza, enchiladas, stuffed pasta shells and brown rice and vegetable bowls.

No illnesses have been reported, but Amy’s Kitchen is recalling the products out of caution.

Consumers are urged to dispose the recalled products or return them to the store where they were purchased for an exchange or full refund. Consumers may also call Amy’s at 707.781.7535 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Pacific).
