GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Grand Rapids woman who stabbed and killed her boyfriend in August 2014 is going to prison.
Janaya Aflower Johnson, 36, was sentenced Tuesday by Judge Paul Sullivan to three to 15 years in prison.
Johnson pleaded guilty to manslaughter in February. She was originally charged with murder in August 2014 for the stabbing death of her boyfriend, 33-year-old James Arthur Washington.
