Alleged drunk driver claims sneeze caused crash

IONIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A driver was arrested Sunday for drunk driving after a crash, the driver claims, was caused because they were sneezing.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. Sunday on Jefferson Road near Parmeter Road, according to the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office.

After investigating, police arrested the driver for driving under the influence of alcohol.
