Man walks down GR street after shot in face

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man is in the hospital after getting shot in the face Wednesday morning.

The Grand Rapids Police Department says they received a call that a man was walking down Hamilton Avenue, near Quarry Avenue, with a gunshot wound to the face.

The man received non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

It is unknown at this time if a suspect has been arrested in connection to the shooting.
