Ottawa Co. sheriff’s deputies searching for shooting suspect

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Ottawa County sheriff’s deputies are trying to identify a suspect in connection to a shooting at the Holland Town Center.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 15 when approximately 100 party goers were in the process of leaving and then several fights broke out.

A witness told authorities he saw a man fire two shots into the air. Another witness said the suspect was actually shooting at a vehicle.  No one was injured.

The suspect is described by witnesses as a black man in his mid-20s and around 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build. At the time of the shooting, he was wearing a red shirt and blues.
