DECATUR, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan State Police are now saying a Decatur man who died in his home early Tuesday suffered a heart attack.
Police initially said they were investigating Terry Gillam’s death as suspicious because he had called 911 around 5:20 a.m. to report a disturbance at his home on Harrison Street.
When troopers arrived at Gillam’s house, they found him unconscious. Emergency crews attempted to revive him, but were unsuccessful.
Wednesday, MSP said an autopsy had determined Gillam, 65, died of a heart attack. There were no other signs of injury.
