Ralston Bowles pays tribute to community leader

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Ralston Bowles is a musician who’s made a name for himself in West Michigan. He also has strong ties to the community. Bowles wrote a poem for Kids’ Food Basket founder Mary K. Hoodhood. He posted it to Facebook, and it was so popular, he decided to set it to music. Hear Bowles perform “Mary’s Song” in the eightWest studio.

Ralston Bowles will perform with Pierce Pettis on Saturday, April 11 at Trinity House Theatre in Livonia, and on May 8 at Howmet Playhouse in Whitehall.
