Police seek suspect who escaped in stolen vehicle

BOSTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Deputies in Ionia County are trying to locate a suspect who led police on a chase in an alleged stolen truck.

A deputy attempted to stop the vehicle on Nash Highway near Portland Road early Sunday when the driver sped off.

Deputies, along with Michigan State Police, chased the vehicle for several miles into Kent County before ending the pursuit without locating the suspect.

The vehicle is described as a black Dodge Ram Pick-up with an extended or quad cab. The vehicle was displaying license plate CFT5516 which is a stolen plate out of Ionia County. The vehicle has a graphic of an animal head in the center of the back window.
