John Stamos confirms ‘Full House’ sequel

Sequel of Full House set to premiere on Netflix in 2016.

CALIFORNIA (WOOD) — Have mercy! Fans of the 90’s hit sitcom “Full House” have reason to celebrate.

John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse, announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday night that a sequel is coming soon to Netflix.

Netflix has ordered 13 episodes of the reunion which will be called “Fuller House”.

Stamos said he will reprise his role as Uncle Jesse in the sequel. The show will also center around DJ Tanner, Stephanie Tanner and their neighbor, Kimmy Gibler.

Netflix says it is talking to other “Full House” stars, including Bob Saget, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin, about participating as guest stars.

The sequel is set to premiere in 2016.
