GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A federal jury has found a man guilty of stealing and selling motor homes throughout the U.S. including West Michigan.

The jury convicted 56-year-old Ronald Bruce Myers, of Nevada, on all counts of conspiring with others to steal motor homes. He faces up to 35 years in prison.

Officials said Myers stole a Country Coach motor home from Holland Bus and Motor Homes on March 28, 2012. He then returned to Michigan in early May 2012 and stole two more motor homes from Midway RV Center of Kentwood.

Myers also stole two motor homes in Alabama, one in Missouri, one in North Carolina and one in Florida, according to investigators.

The jury also convicted Myers of three counts related to money laundering. He faces up to an additional sixty years in prison for those convictions.

Myers had already been convicted in four previous federal prosecutions involving stolen vehicles.

He is expected to be sentenced in U.S. District Court on Aug. 21.
