GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Fashion students at Kendall College of Art and Design will be creating quite a “buzz” this Saturday at a unique fashion show.

KCAD Fashion Studies students created “Insectrum,” an original fashion show that doubles as a fundraising event for the Felt Mansion in Saugatuck. Each student used an insect for inspiration in creating their fashion designs. The Grand Rapids Ballet will also participate with dancers and costumes that were designed by Fashion Studies students for use in the MOVEMEDIA II program.

Insectrum is on Saturday, April 25 at the Felt Estate in Saugatuck. A luncheon is at noon, with the fashion show starting at 1 p.m. Advance tickets are $40 per person or $30 for Friends of the Felt Estate. Student tickets are $20 for the fashion show only. Tickets are available for purchase online.
