IceHogs win Game 3 vs. Griffins

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WOOD) — It won’t be a sweep.

The Grand Rapids Griffins lost Game 3 of their second-round Calder Cup Playoffs series against the IceHogs in Rockford, Ill. on Wednesday. The IceHogs won 4-1.

The Griffins still lead the best-of-seven series: They won Games 1 and 2 on home ice at Van Andel Arena. Game 4 is scheduled for Thursday in Rockford.


Schedule of series:

  • Game 4: 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 14 at Rockford
  • Game 5: 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 at Rockford
  • (If necessary) Game 6: 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19 at Van Andel Arena
  • (If necessary) Game 7: 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20 at Van Anel Arena
