GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — A 18- and 16-year-old from Grand Haven have been arrested for stealing from two homes, police say.

The home invasions happened in the early morning hours of June 6 in the 1200 block of Grand and Orchard avenues, the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety said in a Wednesday release.

Police say the suspects got into the homes through unlocked sliding doors and then stole prescription medications, a purse, a laptop computer and other items.

Carter Michael Cameron, 18, is charged with first-degree home invasion. He’s being held on a $30,000 cash/surety bond.

The 16-year-old suspect, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, is expected to face home invasion charges in Ottawa County Family Court.
