GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD)—Second-in-commands from across the country are coming to West Michigan.
Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley and his counterparts will gather in Grand Rapids next year for the National Lieutenant Governors Association conference.
The event is open to leaders from 50 states and five territories.
In a statement to 24 Hour News 8, Calley says the conference brings new opportunity to the area.
“Hosting the NLGA conference gives us the chance to show off what makes Michigan the comeback state,” he stated.
The lieutenant governors meeting will take place at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in July 2016.
