Grand Rapids FC beats Lansing United

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Soccer is alive and well in West Michigan. The new Great Lakes Premier League has taken off in Grand Rapids.

Before Saturday night’s game at Houseman Field between Grand Rapids FC and Lansing United, fans piled into Bob’s Bar then made the half mile walk to the stadium to watch the game.

Around 4,100 people attended Saturday night’s game.
