Police seek man who robbed Holland gas station

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Police in Holland are looking for the man who robbed a Family Fare gas station Saturday night.

The robbery happened around 10:30 p.m. at the Family Fare Quick Stop located at 1149 S. Washington Ave., north of I-196, in Holland.

The Holland Department of Public Safety said the robber, who implied he was armed when he placed his hand in his sweatshirt, told the clerk to give him all the money in the cash register.

The suspect took off on foot. A K-9 was called in to track him, but was not successful in finding him.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black cloth or bandana over his face.
