MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) If you don’t have plans for the Fourth of July weekend yet, consider heading to Muskegon for the third annual Lakeshore Art Festival.
The Lakeshore Art Festival packs a lot of fun into two days over July 3 and 4. There will be live music, street performers, food booths, an artist and food market, interactive art, and a children’s area with activities.
A unique part of the festival is a community art project. The interactive project features an entire area covered in canvas. People will be able to paint it and at the end of the day, it will be cut and framed, then sold with the proceeds going to local non-profits.
The Festival is a fun and interactive event for family and friends to experience Michigan’s art community and some fireworks! It runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Admission is free!
RockStock is also taking place July 3 and 4 in Muskegon. Come to Heritage Landing to see The Crane Wives on Friday and Mega 80s on Saturday. It’s $5 per day or $8 for both concerts. Children 12 and under and veterans and military personnel are free.
