Man hospitalized after Holland Twp. hit-and-run

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A Zeeland man has been hospitalized after a hit-and-run accident outside of Holland on Thursday.

It happened around 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of 104th Avenue and Mason Street in Holland Township.

Walter Bruins, 49, of Zeeland, was riding his motorcycle southbound on 104th Avenue when he was hit by a red or maroon minivan which was turning off Mason Street.

The van fled northbound on 104th Street.

Investigators say Bruins has significant injuries and is in critical condition.
