Police: Man shot in leg following argument

BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was hospitalized after he was shot outside a Battle Creek home.

Officers were called to a home in the 200 block of Algonquin Street in Bedford Township Friday morning where they found the 36-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to his leg.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Battle Creek police believe the shooting happened in the front yard of the home following an argument. The incident remains under investigation. It’s unclear if police have anyone in cusotdy
