Performing for love and justice

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — West Michigan native and musician Amanda Vernon is busy working on a project for this year’s ArtPrize. This Saturday, she’s asking the community to participate in her submission. You can be a part of her music video on July 11 at Aquinas College from 2:30 – 4 p.m.

“There’s a message from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. ‘Justice is love, correcting that which revolts against love’ … when I talk about justice I’m talking about sharing a genuine care for each and every person.” Amanda Vernon.
