WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Some metro Grand Rapids gas stations posted prices that were among the cheapest in the country on Wednesday.
A gallon of regular unleaded gas was selling for as little as $2.12 at some southeast Grand Rapids and Wyoming gas stations Wednesday afternoon, according to GasBuddy.com.
Patrick DeHaan, GasBuddy’s senior petroleum analyst, said that was only 3 cents higher than the cheapest gas in the country.
Several other Grand Rapids and Wyoming gas stations had gas for between $2.15 and $2.20 per gallon.

The average price of gas in the state of Michigan was $2.67 and falling late Wednesday afternoon.
The average price of gas nationally was $2.74. Crude oil was trading around $50.26 per barrel.
