Customers still without power should call Consumers

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Consumers Energy would like to hear from anyone in the Grand Rapids and Muskegon areas who is still without power.

Several thousand people lost power when storms rolled through West Michigan on Sunday.

Tuesday evening, Consumers said that it wanted to hear from customers who were still in the dark. Anyone win the greater Grand Rapids or Muskegon area who still didn’t have power was asked to call 800.477.5050 or report the outage online.

Even if you have already reported your outage, doing so again will help Consumers plan where to send its crews as restoration efforts continue, the company said.

Consumers’ interactive outage map showed fewer than 10 customers in Kent and Muskegon counties combined were without power.
