GRPD: Man shot, in critical condition

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was hospitalized with life threatening injuries following a shooting on the southeast side of Grand Rapids.

The shooting occurred at a home in the 1100 block of Alexander Street SE off Fuller Avenue just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the victim’s family came home to find the 55-year-old man in the family room suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers are working to determine a motive and suspect information.

A K-9 unit attempted to track the suspect(s), but was unsuccessful.
