$1 million lottery ticket goes unclaimed

LANSING, Mich. (AP/WOOD) — The deadline to claim a $1 million Michigan lottery prize has expired.

The winning Mega Millions ticket was sold Aug. 5, 2014, at a CVS Pharmacy in Grand Rapids. The winner had a year to pick up the prize.

The unclaimed money has been deposited in Michigan’s school aid fund.

The winning numbers were 25, 28, 36, 45 and 53.
