Suspect ID’d in Kzoo Co. indecent exposures

PAVILION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Kalamazoo County authorities say they have identified a suspect in connection to at least two complaints of indecent exposure.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office and Portage Department of Public Safety said on Thursday that they will forward a charging request to the county prosecutor, who will decide whether to formally file charges and issue an arrest warrant.

The incidents happened on July 21 and July 28 in Pavilion Township, east of Portage. Two women reported that the man, who was white and seemed to be between the ages of 50 and 60, exposed himself to them.

Portage police were also looking into a similar incident in their city from May 27.

The suspect’s name was not included in a Thursday release. It’s also not yet known how investigators identified him as a suspect.
