KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say they have arrested a man in connection to a string of recent break-ins at Kentwood homes.
The break-ins happened over the past several months in the early morning hours in the area of the Bailey’s Grove housing development. The burglar was getting into homes through open doors and was typically taking cash and small items.
While conducting surveillance in the area Sunday night and early Monday, investigators arrested someone in connection to the crimes, the Kentwood Police Department said.
That suspect, a 22-year-old who lives in the neighborhood, now faces multiple felony charges including home invasion.
He was expected to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon.
