Man dies from injuries in Muskegon Heights shooting

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a 20-year-old man died following a shooting in Muskegon Heights early Sunday.

Four people were injured in the shooting which happened around 2:30 a.m. at East Park Manor in the 600 block of Hovey Street near Dyson Street.

One of the victims, identified by police as Thedrick Bryant, died from his injuries Monday afternoon at a local hospital.

Police say two other victims remain in the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The fourth victim was treated and released.

The names of the three remaining victims are being withheld pending notification of their family members.

The shooting remains under investigation. Police have not named any suspects or said there have been any arrests.
