Hesperia Community Schools closed Tuesday

HESPERIA, Mich. (WOOD) — Hesperia Community Schools is closed due to mold on what was supposed to be the first day back to school for students.

Superintendent Mike Corey told 24 Hour News 8 that mold was found in the elementary school and since K-12th grades share one building and the same ventilation system, school is canceled Tuesday for all students.

Corey says classes will resume once the building is safe for students.
