Missing 7-month-old boy found safe; mother arrested

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — The 7-month-old boy who was reported missing on Thursday has been found uninjured.

Police say the boy’s mother, Sarah Baird, called Child Protective Services on Friday to tell them she was with her son, Josiah William, at a fast food restaurant in South Haven.

South Haven police responded and turned Josiah over to CPS.

Baird was arrested on a warrant for custodial interference.
