World-class art in Grand Rapids for more than just ArtPrize

NEW YORK, New York (WOOD) Right now, ArtPrize dominates the galleries of the Grand Rapids Art Museum, but the exhibitions here are changing all the time. One exhibition that was here over the summer, is “In the Air”, a panoramic, film installation of New York City, created by artist T.J. Wilcox.

Before Grand Rapids, “In the Air” was at the Whitney Museum in New York. It’s one of several major exhibitions that’s been shared by the GRAM and Whitney. Rachael was in New York recently to learn more about how that connection came about.
