LAKE ODESSA, Mich. (WOOD) Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary is home to Hobbes, who is awaiting his forever home. Hobbes was abandoned by his original owner. He can be a little shy around new people and needs lot of love while he works on his manners.

Hobbes gets pretty excited around other dogs and may need some work on his social skills. He is super smart and is learning his commands really fast. He would really enjoy a big yard of his own to play in and some older kids or adults who will help him get lots of exercise.

Hobbes is getting ready to celebrate is second birthday next spring, so he still has a lot of puppy energy to burn. He is kind of a big guy with an even bigger heart who would be best in a family with kids who are old enough to handle him.

If you think your home is the right fit for Hobbes, give Mackenzie’s a call. They make the adoption process easy by setting up a time for you to come visit him or any of the dogs at their place and they’ll set up a visit at your home with the dog of your choice to ensure it’s a good match for everyone.
