Columbia Avenue reopened after crash

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Westbound Columbia Avenue near M-66 has reopened after a vehicle crash Saturday.

Police say around 3:00 p.m. an eastbound Ford Mustang tried to pass other vehicle, lost control, hit the median and crossed into oncoming traffic, hitting a Suzuki sedan.

When emergency crews arrived on the scene, the driver of the Mustang was laying on the ground.

Both drivers were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
