GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids Police are investigating a stabbing in the city’s northeast side.
It happened around 12:50 a.m. Sunday on Caledonia Street between Taylor and Plainfield Avenues. Police say there was a large altercation, during which a woman allegedly stabbed a man in the chest.
The man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman was taken into custody.
Neither the victim’s nor the woman’s names have been released. Police say both people are in their early 20s.
