Conference focuses on caregivers

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Memory loss touches so many lives. It is estimated more than 53,000 people in the area are providing care for someone with dementia. Clark Retirement Community is among a team of organizations that strive to support those people with the Pathway to Caregiving Conference.

The Pathway to Caregiving Conference is designed to assist those caring for a loved one with memory loss by providing support, education, and a continued resource. The conference offers more than 15 expert-led sessions from organizations like Clark Retirement Home, Holland Home, and the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Pathway to Caregiving Conference is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, at the Prince Conference Center at Calvin College. Lunch will be provided.
