Man arrested after stealing cash, marijuana

GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A 17-year-old Muskegon man has been arrested after allegedly robbing a marijuana patient.

Police say the suspect entered an apartment in the 15000 block Clovernook Drive around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash and marijuana, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim told police he saw a gun during the robbery.

No one was hurt during the incident.

Police tracked the suspect to a home in Muskegon Tuesday night where he was arrested. During a search of the home, police found money, marijuana and an airsoft gun, which is believed to have been used in the crime.

The suspect is jail awaiting charges.
