Police seek man who robbed Hastings Walgreens

HASTINGS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police in Hastings are looking for the man who robbed a Walgreens store Wednesday evening.

The robbery happened around 8 p.m. at the Walgreens in the area of Broadway and Apple streets, according to the Hastings Police Department.

Police say a man entered the store and demanded money from a worker. Chief Jeff Pratt said the robber did not indicate he had a weapon.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken. The robber then took off on foot headed north.

A release from police described the robber as an about 6-foot white man with a medium build and facial hair. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and tennis shoes. He was captured on surveillance video. Police provided photos Wednesday night.
